About the Opportunity:
The Industrial Development Corporation (IDC), in partnership with the Council for Geoscience and the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy, has launched the Junior Mining Exploration Fund. The initiative supports eligible junior mining enterprises in South Africa to access funding for early-stage exploration and discovery activities — helping entrepreneurs uncover new mining opportunities that can contribute to the country’s mineral economy.
Who Can Apply:
South African junior mining enterprises
SMEs and emerging miners exploring new mineral deposits
Companies with a valid exploration or mining permit/license
Benefits:
Access to funding for early-stage mineral exploration
Support and guidance from IDC and Council for Geoscience experts
Opportunities to grow into commercial mining operations
