About the Opportunity:

The Spaces of Culture programme is a cultural funding initiative focused on Sub-Saharan Africa brought to you by EUNIC. It promotes collaboration between African cultural practitioners and European partners to co-create impactful projects rooted in mutual learning, inclusion, and sustainability. The programme is part of the broader Africa-Europe Partnership for Culture by the European Commission.

Up to €50,000 in funding per project
80% pre-payment to support project rollout

Who Can Apply:

Projects must include:
- At least 3 local cultural or civil society partners
- Involvement of EU Delegations
Open to initiatives in arts, education, heritage, sports, gender, digitalisation, and more
Especially encouraged: projects that reach youth, people with disabilities, rural areas, and fragile contexts
