Incubate Programme Cohort 2022: Calling all FinTech & Related Startups to Apply

About the Opportunity:

The AlphaCode Incubate Programme is designed to identify, partner with, and grow innovative financial services and related industry entrepreneurs.

8 successful applicants will be invited to the Jump-Start Programme, a 12-week programme that focuses on assisting the startup's founding team to establish a viable business with a problem-solution fit. The entrepreneurial package is valued at R500 000, which includes; R150 000 grant funding, access to startup mentors, advisory experts, and access to the AlphaCode co-working space. After demo day, 4 startups will then be selected to join the Step-Up Programme, a 6-month incubation programme aimed at helping each startup achieve product-market fit, feasibility and financial viability. This entrepreneurial package is valued at R1 000 000, which includes; R500 000 grant funding, access to startup mentors, advisory experts, execution support and access to the AlphaCode co-working space

Who should apply?

We give preference to Fintech startups, but will consider innovative tech-enabled ideas or startups in adjacent industries.

Entry Requirements

The AlphaCode Incubate Programme is aimed at early-stage fintech businesses or ideas. The application process consists of the following steps; 1. Registering on the AlphaCode Incubator Portal site, 2. Creating a personal and business profile, 3. Completing the application form, and 4. Uploading a 3-minute video introducing your business.
