Tony Elumelu Foundation calls for storytellers to apply for the Africa No Filter Storytellers Fund

The Africa No Filter grants support emerging and established artists, scholars, authors, poets, bloggers, vloggers, photographers, curators, publishers, musicians, journalists, and arts, culture and media organisations that are already challenging stereotypes about Africa.

Africa No Filter offers grants directly and indirectly through intermediaries as part of their work of strengthening the narrative change ecosystem by developing robust research and nuanced storytelling about Africa. The fund will award grants worth between $5000 and $2000 to each selected participant.

Who can apply?

• Anybody that’s between the ages of 18 and 35 years

• They must live on the continent of Africa or in the Diaspora

• They must have a platform or portfolio or work that shifts stereotypical narratives about the youth and entrepreneurship in Africa
